I have a slightly different version of the DV4 that the one described, but the product has been outstanding. Very solid construction, everything works well – no problems at all.
The system came with Vista installed, but I have also installed Linux (Fedora 10) and am currently running Windows 7 beta. No problems whatsoever.
I have had many HP products over the years – and this is one of the best I have ever seen or used by any vendor. One reason that I chose HP was the super support – email, phone, download supports in the future, etc.

This little laptop is not only the best in its price range, but it blows away many larger and more expensive computers. If you have children in College – it is your best bet. Light, portable, and fast with just about all the bells and whistles you could want.
The glossy finish its a magnet for fingerprints! everything its glossy even the keyboard (a real issue)i really hate it! im thinking to replace it.
Everything else its Ok! Very fast laptop!

Wow, what a great little TV! Not using the included antenna, but using another single retractable rod antenna – with a long cable attached, I was able, by moving the antenna away from the TV, to tune-in everything that my 27″ Digital Sony can. Actually, even more analogue stations than the Sony.
Nothing in the advertising says this TV produces High Definition viewing. While it does pick-up HDTV stations, image quality is restricted by the LED television screen. But that image is really nice and sharp – almost HD.
Also, I can hardly believe that the included little lightweight lithium ion battery can be so powerful. It way out performs NmHd batteries. And the light weight AC adapter, and even the included lighter weight automobile adapter, they are of finest quality – like the TV itself.
It seems very odd that since this is the best 7″ digital TV that I have ever seen that it is also the lowest in price. I got mine for $117.99 including free S&H. Read the rest of this entry »

Everything you read about this camera is true. I owned one for a couple of days and the picture was extraordinary… the camera was a breeze to use…
And then I turned up the audio. Whoa. What’s that humming?!
Now, I had seen plenty of reviews (even on the older HV20) warning of a little tape noise in the audio. I own two other Mini DV cameras, and you do hear a little bit of the mechnism working. But this is different. It’s disruptive. And I’m not alone in my thinking here. Do some digging and you’ll find a few other reviews cropping up online with this complaint now.
If audio’s not a big deal to you, or you plan on using extrenal mics, I’d say this is still an insanely great camera for you. But if you’re getting it to grab baby’s precious moments or anything like that, I have to strongly warn against getting this due to the tape noise in the audio. I consider it a deal-breaker.
